Around 1890, George Edward Ramsey built canal boats and barges in Shipley, not far from our present location. Four generations later, we have progressed to be one of the major component suppliers to the bed and furniture industry nationwide.

Still a family owned and run company, we pride ourselves on our quality and service, backed up by the latest machinery, technology and in house training.

Whether you are relaxing in an hotel arm chair, tucking your children into a bunk bed, or fast asleep in your own divan bed, it is most likely our products are utilised in the manufacture.

We produce enough timber for the construction of over 1,000,000 units every year, making us very capable of producing virtually all your individually unique specifications.
